Flat profile concrete tiles make an ideal cost effective alternative to a natural
slate. With their size (10 tiles per mē) and ease of laying such tiles are frequently
used for new build residential projects.
Alternatively, in non-slate colours such as Terracotta Red and Rustic, the flat
concrete tile takes on a more modern appearance.
Quality and Standards
All products within this range comply with the requirements of BS EN 490 &
491 and are manufactured under quality management system BS EN ISO 9001. All products
meet the performance requirements of BS 5534 and are guaranteed to remain durable
for at least 60 years.
Environmental Qualities
At Sandtoft we use only 100% green electricity generated from wind farms and
hydro electric plants. Furthermore, all our concrete tiles contain an average
of 15% recycled aggregates and are rated A+ under the Building Research Establishment's
Green Guide to Specification.
